Windows Vista Wallpapers Collection

Today we are very pleased to announce that our site is hosting a great collection of Windows Vista wallpapers that did not make the cut into the final Windows Vista Collection. The author of these great wallpapers is Hamad Darwish - a talented young man from Kuwait with a passion for photography.

In 2005 he was approached by Microsoft to work on the wallpaper collection for Windows Vista. From the final list of wallpapers included in Windows Vista, two of them are his work. The rest of his submissions did not make it even though some of them are just gorgeous. If you would like to know more about him and his collaboration with Microsoft you can read this interview.

LOL. The "grinch" comment

LOL.
The "grinch" comment above is one of the funniest ever! What a total noob! Guy must be the biggest loser around.
Admin... you response was pretty funny too, I wish I could have seen your face when you first read that "grinch" comment.

down with Vista

My new expensive Sony Vista Ultimate desktop and hybrid ATI TV "Wonder" digital cable tuners are a nightmare! Brand new, straight out of the box, my local cable provider (Time Warner) could not find a compatible cable card to install. Two weeks later, the cable lines to the house all having been replaced twice, after visit 10 by 8 different cable guys. On about the fifth cable card we finally had a TV signal, for almost 2 days. Then the charming device automatically downloaded and installed service pack 1 for Vista which immediately made the signal break up. The cable guys called it pixeling, basically crazy colors and a blinking screen. After more hours on the phone to Sony than I can count. The Sony desktop has failed to reliably get a HDTV signal for 7 weeks. I was told it is a known Vista issue, and I am not the only one. If you check the VISIONTek web site, they do support for the company that made the tuners. I found another 2 unfortunate users who have been asking for a solution for 4 months. The desktop cannot even detect the tuners much of the time, and all are "certified for Vista" and sold by Sony. Sony customer support is telling me I cannot return the desktop. Why, I have had it for over a month, I was laboring under the mistaken belief that they could get it to work! I think consumers deserve to be warned, how could I let other potential buyers know they are wasting money if they try to get HDTV using Vista. Thanks in advance for any advice. Cats

Breathtaking

Wow! How in the world do people get these jobs where they can take fabulous photographs and then get to distribute them for people to put on their computers? Do they just go on wonderful sunny vacations, point and click? I want that job! :) Great pics.
