Change from Windows Mail back to outlook

I recently changed from Microsoft Outlook 2007 to Windows mail as my default email, I would now like to change back to Outlook 2007 (NOT Outlook Express). I have imported all the messages etc, but cannot send or receive in Outlook it is still using Windows Mail as my default.
Please help in easy to understand terms!!!
