Problem importing contacts! - submited by "Raide"
I've imported my contacts, i have 9800+ contacts.
Now, every time i try to creat a new email, it freezes and i got to restart the program.
Also, is there a way to import my groups configuration? I had a lot of groups, and dont wanto to lose them.
Pls, help!!

i should add one thing in it that i have also checked the file properties and i have the compelete rights of this file but the problem is i can not navigate this .dbx file in the browse link ,,, please help !!!
problem in importing messages
i am facing a lot of problem in importing the messages of outlook into windows mail i had saved all the messages on the desktop and when i browse from the windows mail from the importing of messages these files are not found in the window and they are not hidden or anything ..... please please help me out in this condition, i have all my record in my outlook express and now after expoting the files from outlook express it is not working any more...... now i just have the folder of the inbox in DBX format... please reply early and suggest me any good suggestion : regards

In Outlook Express I have several different folders of Addresses for my different classes' parents e-mails. How can I set up several contact folders in Windows Mail so that I can e-mail specific people in each classroom list?
OE6 to Windows Email
Hi, I haved moved my email folders from OE6 (on a Windows 98 PC) to Windows Email on a PC with Windows Vista. I have a problem. Sometimes when I open windows email, I can see the emails and some times I can't. It appers like they just vanish. i.e. I can't see them in the view screen? any ideas or help appreciated?
Converting Outlook Express .dbx files to windows mail
I have attempted the steps outlined. I have copied the files on to my PC but windows mail does not see them.
Solution to: problem transferring messages from Outlook Express
Dont try importing individual .dbx files, you have to try and import the whole folder. Towards the end of this dialog, you can choose which folders to import. Win Mail cant import individual .dbx files, even within a folder.
Just spent 2hrs on chat with HP to figure this out...
Windows Mail fails to import mail created with OE v 4
I used the import facilities as described and it worked fine - but then I discovered that all mails from the time I was running Outlook Express v 4 (before 2001) was silently ignored by the import script. These mails had succesfully been imported first to OE v5 and then to OE v 6. They are visible in my OE v 6 application. Any clues?
import of Outlook Express 06 mail doesn't work
I am receiving the following error" No Messages can be found in this folder or another application is running that has required files open. Please select another folder or try closing applications that may have the files open. I have checked the file - under properties - and it is not "read only" and not "hidden". Any ideas!! thanks very much

In Microsoft Outlook when you import the email setting, it says"No email account found"
