Windows could not search for new updates

Today, when I turned on the computer, the windows update icon at the bottom right of my screen told me that "windows could not search for new updates" with an error code of 80072F8F. I have no idea what this means and everything else on my computer is running fine and I haven't changed any settings or deleted any items. Please tell me what to do if anyone have any idea.

Try again

Try again later, in another day. It might work. I had a similar problem for two days and then... it just worked.
I think my Internet Provider had some problems during those two days.
