Gmail account not working with windows mail

Hi ,

I followed the instructions to configure my gmail account to windows mail. i use a broadbrand connection. After configuring the windows mail when i click send/receive i get the following error message :

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E.

Kindle help me to resolve that and use windows mail with my gmail account. Expecting your support.

Firewall

Maybe your firewall is blocking the connection to the e-mail server.

Same Problem

Just got the same problem, and maybe it's not the firewall, i just add the program to the firewall exception list, so it's not.

any one suggests something else?

* Incoming or outgoing server address
