Annoying Commodo Prompts

Greetings,

I have recently downloaded Commodo Firewall Pro (great software, thanks!). The only problem is that whenever I run a program or an installer/uninstaller (or whatever), Commodo keeps on pausing the program operation and giving me popups asking me what to do with them. This is VERY annoying and inefficient as I do a lot of installing/uninstalling. Just wondering if there's any way to turn that off and make Commodo work like Norton 360 where there's no prompts asking you what to do, EVER, while uncompromising safety.

Thanks

I would suggest running your

I would suggest running your spyware and antivirus program and ensure that your computer is clean. Then set your Commodo to learning mode for a day or so. After set to learning mode, do a windows update and do some of your common tasks. Do not do anything risky like going to naughty sites or installing freeware/shareware files. But do some normal surfing. Right before going back to safe mode or clean mode, launch all of your normal programs and run their update processes. Then turn Commodo back to it's regular mode and you should only get pop ups on unusual activity. If you install a new piece of software, then run your antivirus and spyware full scans to ensure that your system is currently clean, then go back to learning mode. Make sure you do your updates while in learning mode so that your not prompted to do an update. If you are paranoid like me, then you can always adjust the policy to block programs that call home for no apparent reason.
