Hi. Thank you for reading this (and hopefully showing me how to do something).
I am used to XP (which had its quirks, but for me (for years) was just right. Recently ? upgraded ? to VISTA and have not been able to figure out one thing that was a given in XP.
How to I organize my Favorites, so that they're the way I want them? I don't mean the usual go to the favorite icon, then to the right, etc. but rather: how do I put them in chronological order instead of the really weird alphabetical order that VISTA is defaulted to.
Some people prefer alphabetical, but here's my problem -- let's say you know you added a favorite in the past 2 days --
in XP, you just went to the end of your favorites and scrolled up
in VISTA, you have to have memorized what the favorite was saved as, then find in alphabetically.
to further complicate the issue, favorites aren't alway saved under what you think they should be saved under (I just use ctrl-d, then add)
case in point -- I bought the Gateway computer I'm using right now from HSN. Here is the link:
http://electronics.hsn.com/gateway-triple-core-2gb-ram-320gb-hdd-desktop...
when you save it, the first word is Gateway; in the favorites list, there is an HSN icon. As you can see above the first word in the site is electronics.
I'm worried that VISTA will totally mess up how things are saved.
Is there a way to revert to chronogical order, or do I have to change the way I save favorites?
Thank you,

Internet Explorer 7?
Are you referring to the Favorites in Internet Explorer 7?
If that is the case... Favorites are not saved automatically in an alphabetical order. You need to sort them manually to be listed alphabetically. By default, they are saved in the order you created them.
