Is there another upgrade advisor

I have XP Home and I may be looking for a new machine.
I tried M/S Vista Upgrade Advisor, but it did not list any of my software- even the Windows Word/Office 2000 that I have.
is there another advisor program out there?

An upgrade advisor can only
An upgrade advisor can only check for the hardware components of the computer, it is not capable of checking the compatibility of applications or games. Microsoft keeps releasing the Application update regularly, you may visit the web link below and check if the application is compatible.
