Help moving outlook express emails to windows mail from portable harddrive

My last laptop crashed and I was able to take out the hard drive, so now its in a portable hard drive case. The computer was XP with Outlook Express and my new laptop is Vista with Windows Mail. How do I get the emails from the portable hard drive moved to my Windows Mail?
