Problem with Internet explorer

I recently upgraded from XP to Vista. Both desktop and laptop has vista OS. Whenever i connect my laptop / desktop using router to internet the internet becomes disconnected after few minutes. Its frustating. no where I can find a remedy for the problem . Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Firmware update
If this happens on both XP and Vista then you might have some problems with the cables or something else physical. Ask someone who knows their networks to take a look.
If this happens only on Vista... Your router might need a firmware update. Write down the producer and model number of your router and search using Google for firmware updates.
If there are any, download them and install them by following the instructions provided by the producer in the manual or their website.
Windows Vista/Internet Explorer
I am having problems with Internet Explorer when I try to shut down. No matter how I try to exit out to close Internet Explorer down, it will report that it had a problem and is restarting. In order to shut down, I have to shut down the computer completely. Help!!
bluetooth connection
Hi, i could establish connection through bluetooth with my friend's laptop (we both have same model laptops). we created a LAN but we cant access the internet through the bluetooth, i have an internet connection broadband, we tried a lot but it is not getting connected. still we can share all other files, but from one lap one cant access internet thorugh bluetooth, plz help us???!!!!
Kept getting disconnected
Recently added a MAC. Now we have a Window PC (HP) and a Mac using Verizon router (with Verizon). Ever since we added the Mac, I kept getting disconnected when I go to the internet. What could be the problem and is there an easy solution.
PLEASE HELP ME.

we are having problems with getting the web page up it just keeps saying it cant connect when is conneted with very strong signal please could you help us
