won't wake up from sleep mode

Hi there . I find that if it is in sleep mode for more than 15min or so , and when I click on the mouse I can hear and see the computer starts up, but monitor is still has no display and the key board doesn't have any lights on??
I have to manual reset it!!

won't wake up from sleep mode
I have had this problem many times (currently running Windows 7, but Vista previously) and solve it with the same solution. It has always been because the computer "doesn't like" something I have recently installed. This last time it was a new mini keyboard and a D-link USB adapter. Both have the proper drivers installed, but I still had to unplug both of them (not uninstall the drivers though), plug back in the old keyboard and mouse and then the computer rebooted just fine when I turned it off then on. This used to happen when I had a Mac keyboard plugged in and forgot before I restarted. My advice is to consider ANY device you have recently installed prior to any sleep mode or restart and unplug that device(s). Works for me.
