Error on boot

I get an error everytime I boot - C:\progra"1\mywebs"1\bar\1bin\m3plugin.dll. I'm not sure of the quotation marks before 1. My computer says it can't find above address. Lorin sent me a solution but I did not understand it. Where do I find ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. I did not download Smilies or any other program close to the above. How do I find a solution if given on this post. I have Windows Home Premium 2007.
Thank you,

This article should help you find the Add/Remove: http://www.vista4beginners.com/Add-Remove-Programs-nowhere-to-be-found

Your antivirus&other-defenders deleted a part of the threat called mywebsearch toolbar. Although an easy fix would be to reinstall the program, I wouldn't recommend it. There is a reason your antivirus&co deleted a part of it.

1. Go to Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall the MyWebSearch toolbar if you can find it. (In the list of currently installed application look for MyWebSearch)

2. Unplug the internet connection and scan your computer. (Do a scan with your current antivirus).

3.
a. click start (in the down-left corner of your screen, the round button)
b. type msconfig (in the search box where it says "Start Search" ) and click to open (or press enter) on the result.
c. click on the Startup tab/category in the System configuration window (the newly opened window that appeared when you opened the msconfig)
d. look for MyWebSearch toolbar. If found, uncheck it from the list and then click on the Apply button.
e. After you clicked to close, windows will prompt about restarting. Restart and see if you still have the problem.

4.If you still have the same problem. Save the registry (my first post on http://www.vista4beginners.com/node/631) and search for "m3plugin.dll" in the registry manager. When found, see if directs to the path that it did before (C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\ or the equivalent C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch). If it does, delete it. However, as I said before, this should be done with caution.

Advice:
a. Be careful when install things like smiles / smilies (happy, sad, etc faces) for messenger. After a few searches I found this to be the main cause of your problem. (This is the main cause, however other may still cause this so I suggest doing a complete scan -as I said at 2-).

Just as a note the problem is really caused by MyWebSearch, there is no doubt about it. The path directs to it: C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\ or the equivalent C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch.

Hope this is much more helpful.
