Hello everyone,
I would appreciated if anyone can help me on this,
My system: Vaio FW T9550 (2.66GHz) Windows Vista 64 Ultimate with SP1; 4 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650 512 MB. I have installed a trial copy of PowerDVD 9 Ultra. It installed okay however, I can't get a DVD or any video to run. When I insert a DVD movie, a Microsoft Windows message pops out saying: "Power DVD 9.0 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" The program stalls therefore and I click the 'Close program' button for closing down the whole thing. The version I've got is 9.0.1501.0
I had a look at the Windows Event Viewer for the
application PowerDVD error...here it is: A faulty module DVD_X.IMP

I have tried to run the latest 'patch' from Cyberlink.com. - No change. I've got the latest ATI driver and DivX codec.

You might want to try the CyberLink Community Forum. I don't think you will get help on a timely basis on our forum. Unfortunately our site editors do not use this tool and I am not sure why you have those errors. That error log isn't telling much.
