How do I allow itunes to be the default music player?

I can't seem to disable the media player. Can someone advise please?

itunes can't be the default music player
When you download music and media files from iTunes, Windows Media Player, Zune, Rhapsody, bearshare, Napster and so on, you may always come across an annoying thing- 'DRM' protection,so if you set itunes to be default music player,many music format downloaded from other website or music store are unable to play in iTunes.
If you still want to play other format in iTunes
If you still want to play other format in iTunes,you have to crack DRM from the protected files.
