HELP,

I keep getting this Low disk space on Local drive F. Tells me I can free up space by deleting old files. The proble is that the only file on there is "recycle bin" , & it is empty. Also disk drive D is almost full. I just dont know what to do! Its driving me crazy!!!!!

This is a strange one. For the last few weeks, about mid to late afternoon, my PC stops working. Running applications are ok, but I can no longer get anywhere on the internet and I get an error message saying something about browser hooks. No AV or other app is set to run at this time as far as I know.

If I try and launch *any* program after that, I get an error dialog saying there is no program associated with the shortcut. This looks a bit like the old 'can't find path' errors you used to get in the days of MS-DOS and early versions of Windows.

If I invoke the task manager with ctrl-alt+del I get another dialog saying could not create security dialog!

At this point I have to do a hard reboot as the machine will not do anything, including shutting down.

I HAVE BEEN FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS NOW TO UNINSTALL AND/OR
DISABLE USER ACCOUNT CONTROL IN MY WINDOWS VISTA 32, BUT WITH NO SUCCESS WHATSOEVER.

WHEN I CLICK ON "TURN UAC ON OR OFF", THE WINDOWS SCREEN
REQUESTS MY PERMISSION TO CONTINUE AND ASKS FOR MY PASS-
WORD. I HAVE TYPED IN THREE PASSWORDS THAT I HAVE USED
BUT THEY ARE ALL REJECTED, SO I CAN'T CONTINUE ANY FURTHER.
I WANT TO DELETE ALL PASSWORDS AND/OR UNINSTALL UAC. IS
THERE ANY WAY OF BYPASSING THE PERMISSION REQUEST SO I
CAN GET MY COMPUTER BACK TO NORMAL. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL
OTHER WAYS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS BUT THEY ALL ASK FOR A PASS-
WORD.

i am expereincing problems with printing from web pages as well as printing emails in outlook 2007.
can someone please help??????
printing from the pc itself (documents in word,excel etc) is working fine, its just the emails as well as the internet.

please post as to what i should do, not clued up with vista at all

Before decommissioning my old desktop I created .pst files and stored them on my external hard drive. I now have my new laptop with Vista windows mail and it will not allow me to import these files. Can anyone help as I have tons of really important emails that I need?

I decided to take the plunge and purchased myself Vista Home Premium 64bit SP1 to take advantage of my 64bit hardware, mainly for all the latest games, I was always quite happy with XP. I was previously using Winxp 32bit SP3 and never had any problems at all, I do not recall ever have a BSoD.

After the installation I found that I could not browse any websites using IE. I thought it was security or firewall problem so disabled them all. I have not even installed any 3 party software yet, so no virus scanners to disable. In the network settings it shows Computer -> Home Network -> Internet connection.

Help!!! Is anyone out here. Vista has just enlarge everything on my laptop. My icons take up almost the whole screen not to mention going online. I have tried everything. Please help me.

why is my hard drive losing space when i defrag my hard drive?
i have lost 15 GB of space so far

Whenever I put my computer to sleep, it wakes up almost immediatly. It just will not stay asleep. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?? It drives me nuts.
