Hi everybody
Wonder if anyone can help me with a nightmare problem im having at the moment with my laptop which runs Windows Vista?
My laptop has 2 hard disks each with a storage capacity of 32.5GB named the C: and D: drives. Unfortunately the C: drive is almost completely full and I keep getting warning messages, am unsure if updates will install properly and am sure the system is not running very well. The D: drive on the other hand has approx 31GB of free space available. I have been uninstalling various sofware which was on the laptop when I bought it but it's not making much difference.
I'm a complete computer novice and would be grateful if anyone could advise on the best way to resolve this?
I thought it might be possible to set up the drives so that any new software or updates are installed directly onto the D: drive?....or maybe it's possible to transfer some files from the C: drive to the D: drive but I don't know what is safe to move and what will mess up the system?
Any help will be gratefully received.
Best Regards
Louie
