I am using Windows Vista Home Basic from last 2 years. Recently, I have found that the Sound/songs/voice is not clear as well as it's Volume is automatically changing during playback and hence a sort of distortion in sound quality is observed in Window Media Player. I tried to play the same in another Software for music and there is no distortion! However Media Player being more comfortable to use I want to Restore the Undistorted one which was earlier. The problem is by no means it can be Re-Installed! Any Suggestions (Please do not tell me to Re-install Vista!). Thanks...
