Hi, my name's Cody, and

Hi, my name's Cody, and I’m working with the Windows Media Outreach Team to help answer questions that users might have about their copies of Windows Media Player.

I see that you are having issues with finding the proper drivers and codecs for your copy of Windows Media Player. The other commenter here seems to be on the right track, but I wanted to share an excellent resource to better inform yourself and take the steps needed to resolve the problem on your own: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/codec.mspx

This site will provide not only basic information codecs, but it’ll also tell you how to find and install them in the future.

I hope this link was helpful, please let me know if I can help in any other way!

Thanks,

Cody
