not happy with Windows Vista

I have been having problems with my computer, with this Windows Vista. It's real touchy when I try o download something. Tonight, it wouldn't let me get into the Internet. I hardly know anything about computers, and so that makes it even harder. I desperately need some help. I have to scan it more than I probably need to. If I could just understand this all better, that would help. I need someone to explain stuff to me in more simplier terms. I cannot play games on here, because it can't seem to handle it. I keep feeling like I am running into a brick wall. I haven't heard anything good about Windows Vista. So, that is it in a nutshell

1. I don't mean to offend you but before blaming Windows Vista or any other operating system (be it Linux or Windows XP), you should try to learn the basics of operating a computer.

2. You might not be able to access the internet due various reasons. If you want help please try to describe what you are doing when trying to access the internet, what software you are using and be specific about the problems you encounter. The more details you give us, the more likely we are to be able to help.
3. What do you mean by "I cannot play games on here, because it can't seem to handle it" What errors are you encountering when playing which games?
