Hello everybody,
Today we made a few changes to the website:
1. We posted a new tutorial about how to disable the User Access Control in Windows Vista.
2. We created this forum were everybody is welcomed to post any issues they have with Windows Vista. For now it has only a few categories. As the site and the forum will grow in popularity, more categories and features will be added.
3. Due to the fact that we started to receive a lot of spam messages, we decided to change the contact e-mail address to vista4beginners at[@] gmail dot[.] com.
The Gmail spam filters are very good and we hope that this move will solve our issue.
4. We updated the links section of our website.
Important Changes
Due to the big increase in visitors we reached our bandwidth limit so our site was offline for a few hours.
We had to change our hosting so... www.vista4beginners.com is now hosted by DreamHost.

Thank you!
Problems Specific to Vista 64-bit systems
It appears that a lot of solutions/work-arounds and even the original problems depend on whether you're running the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of Vista. I suggest that you organize the forums into a 32-bit specific, 64-bit specific, and 32/64 common problem areas.
Thank you
Thank you for the suggestion. We think this is a good idea.
Unfortunately there is no point in doing this split right now. The forum is rather small and not too many people are posting.
If we manage to grow in size and in the number of active users we will consider this split.
Update
Today we updated the How to install Windows Vista article. We included a new installation scenario:
How to dual boot Vista and XP (with Vista installed first) -- the step-by-step guide.
About page updated
Today we updated the information available in the About page - we included a new section called "credits".
Changes
Today we made a few changes to the site:
The site is back ONLINE
Last week we had big issues with our site being shut down by a DOS attack. With the help of our hosting provider we managed to get back online.
These days we started having problems with spam. Every hour many spam posts are trying to "invade" our site. Until now our spam filters worked perfectly and automatically unpublished these posts.
If they do fail, please don't hesitate to report this kind of posts.
Thanks!
