This message comes up every time I turn the computer on.
I cannot find the program options page to update definitions.

How do I update my program options? It says I am missing a user definitions file and to update by using the program options update download!
Windows defender is out of date and can not locate new definitio
I click "update definition" but still can not fix the problem. It prompted a new definition. I want to go online to download a new one but is very difficult

I am getting that too. Where is the program options page? The error says exactly what this fellow is saying: go to the program options page and update definitions.

I am also getting this message.
The ERROR message reads; COULD NOT LOCATE A VALID DEFINITIONS FILE. PLEASE GO TO PROGRAM OPTIONS PAGE AND CLICK 'UPDATE DEFINITIONS' TO DOWNLOAD A DEFINITIONS FILE.
I am getting this same message with no 'error code' number or any other info re: what program needs this updated definition. Did you ever get an answer to how to find the program options page and download the definitions?
