Right now I am facing a dilemma. My backup and restore center had frozen for some unknown reasons and this issue has not been addressed anywhere. I kept on having this error message: "The backup application couldn't start due to an internal error: 0x80070424" or " The specified service doesn't exist as an installed service: 0x80070424. Verify your system configuration". I already did some disk clean-up and I think that I have enough free space, but it didn't help. I have been web surfing for a day and a half now and I don't seem to find a solution anywhere. Can anyone help me with that?
