favorites vista/IE8?
I follow the directions for accessing my Favorites in ie8/vista by going to my users\username\favorites dir at the comman prompt and type in the icacls /setintegritylevel (OI) (CI) low so that I can add favorites. But no matter whether I do this on the c or d drives, I still get the "access denied" error. Any tips on this?

What exactly do you want to do with your IE 8 Favorites? Can't you access them from the application itself?

I'd like to save the site I'm in to my Favorites list. But I get error messages--"denied" etc... I have done the "solution" shown in Problems and Solutions" involving going to the Users\username\favorites at the command prompt and typing in an executing the "setintegritylevel (OI) (CI) low" part, but still it doesn't work. I do get a list of parameters after executing that command at the command Prompt (the black screen), but when I return to windows and try the Save Favorites, I still am "denied access"
